Rescue is a small rural community located 4 miles north of Cameron Park, and Shingle Springs. Population is approximately 4,700 with most homes located on 5+ acres for a relaxed country lifestyle. Downtown Rescue is quite small with a Post Office, Fire Station, and a Community Center.
